제목 전자빔 조사에 의한 FEP film의 멤브레인 제조와 특성
초록 Poly(tetrafluoroethylene-co-hexafiuoropropylene) (FEP) film could be homogenously and highly grafted by styrene monomer under simultaneous irradiation of electron beam, whereas preirradiation of electron beam is insufficient to accomplish a high degree of grafting without activation of styrene monomer. Subsequent sulfonation of styrene-grafted FEP film could exhibit considerably higher values of both IEC and IC more restraining a methanol crossover than Nafion membrane. Grafting of styrene onto FEP polymer is likely to be initiated from abstraction of F from CF3 group in polymeric structure. It was estimated that two sulfonic acid groups can be attached to on the benzene ring of a styrene.
