제목 Surface treatments of ferrierite zeolite with an enhanced catalytic stability during a gas-phase DME carbonylation
초록 The Brønsted acid sites (BAS) located in the 8 membered-ring (8-MR)channels of zeolite are considered to be the main active sites for a gas-phase DMEcarbonylation, whereas BAS in the 12 or 10-membered ring channels and external Lewisacid sites are known for the undesirable product formation with selective cokedepositions. Therefore, extra metal oxides treatments using bulky metal ionswith enough sizes such as Mg, Sm or La via ion exchange on the ferrierite (FER)were conducted to reduce the undesirable acidic sites.
