Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) thin film solar cells (TFSCs) are being studied a lot due to the use of earth abundant elements. A thin-film solar cell using a flexible substrate has the advantage of being able to be grafted into various applications with high productivity. In the case of a flexible substrate, unlike a glass substrate, since Na doesn’t exist, so it is necessary to improve the quality of the absorber layer through NaF doping. In generally, it is know that alkali elements avoid becoming recombination centers, help minority carrier transportation through grain-boundary (GB) passivation, and prevent the formation of deep-level defects. The NaF layer was deposited directly on the flexible Mo substrate. When NaF was not deposited, the Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) was 6.21%, and when NaF was deposited, the PCE was 7.68%. It was confirmed that the Voc, FF, and Rs values were improved under the influence of NaF deposition. |
