제목 Developing chemotherapy method using liquid metal particles with phospholipid layer that targets folate receptors
초록 Liquid metal generally refers to a metal that is liquid at room temperature. Eutectic Gallium Indium (eGaIn) has characteristics such as low toxicity, biocompatibility, and photothermal. When LMP is formed, phospholipid layer on the particle surface increases the stability and applicate through surface modification can be expected.
LMP was loaded with doxorubicin, which is commonly used for various cancers. DSPE-PEG2000-folate are used on the phospholipid layer to target folate receptors that are expressed on the cancer surface. NIR laser was irradiated to use the photothermal characteristics of liquid metal, the temperature change according to the size of the LMP was confirmed.
Through this, the stability of LMP is increased and used as a drug carrier. Drug delivery can be expected to be improved through NIR irradiation. In addition, it is expected that LMP injection can be checked in real time by utilizing the characteristics of contrast agents.
