제목 ZnO/CaFe2O4 heterojunction photocatalysts for solar H2 production
초록 Recently, the solar energy is attracting attention as an eco-friendly energy source for the future, which is a lot of researched on photocatalysts. In order to enhance hydrogen production efficiency, ZnO/CaFe2O4 heterojunction structure to investigated for water splitting in this study. ZnO is widely studied as a photocatalyst, and CaFe2O4 is introduced as a conjugate material in hydrogen production. We would like to combine these two substances to improve hydrogen production. CaFe2O4 is expected to have a sygenestic effect because of the valence band +1.23 eV, and it is good to utilize sunlight. In addition, by combining narrow bandgap CaFe2O4 and wide bandgap ZnO, we can achieve high charge transfer rates. ZnO/CaFe2O4 photocatalyst is prepared by a hydrothermal synthesis, and hydrogen production performance is evaluated through gas chromatography.
