National investment and R&D for various greenhouse gas reduction technologies such as renewable energy, bioenergy, and CCUS are in progress worldwide to realize carbon neutrality in the energy sector. Among them, intensive R&D is being carried out to meet the demand for technology development that captures carbon dioxide emitted from industrial processes and converts it into synthetic fuel using green hydrogen. In this presentation, the characteristics of synthetic fuels converted based on syngas obtained through gasification from coal or biomass are examined, and a domestic commercialization strategy is sought through analysis of the characteristics of CO2-based synthetic fuels converted at the laboratory level. |
