Observation of different moiré patterns in large-area twisted bilayer graphene fabricated by chemical vapor deposition method |
초록 |
Recently, twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) has been predicted to show distinct electronic properties depend on rotational misalignment of each graphene layers. However, most of previous studies on TBG have been limited to small-size graphene flakes, which had random angle adjustment between the two layers and difficulties in controlling precise angle. In this study, we produced large-area TBG with a size over 10 × 10 cm2 using single crystalline graphene from chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. High quality, twist angle-controlled TBG was obtained by stacking monolayer CVD graphene sheets. As prepared TBG with twist angle ranging from 0 to 31.7 degrees showed different moiré patterns and 2D peak intensities in Raman spectra due to interlayer interactions. |
