The Green-Tide, bring about serious threats to aquatic life, human health, water quality, commercial fisheries, and coastal aesthetics, is a worldwide issue. Currently, to solve these problem, various-algicide compound with soil was developed. However, soil compound is sunken green-tide without algicidal effect, which is cause of death in limnobios by eutrophication. In this study, to flocculate and remove from green-tide, we used to chitosan as natural polymer. It is well known as material of non-toxicity and uninfluenced in freshwater and natural ecosystem. Chitosan with these propertise suggest that is possible as algicidal compound for effectively flocculation and inhibition against green-tide.This work was supported by National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) grant funded by the Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning.
