제목 | Evaluation of catechol-containing IPN hydrogels |
초록 | Mussel inspired adhesive have aunique ability to adhere to various surface in wet conditions via L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalaninederivatives. The catechol containing polymers provides physically interact throughπ-π stacking, cation-π interaction, and hydrogen bonding. In this study, toovercome the poor mechanical properties of general hydrogels, adhesivehydrogels were prepared by physical crosslinking onto the mussel-inspiredcopolymers and polyacrylamide(PAAm). The IPN-structured PAAm/mussel inspiredcopolymer hydrogels have been exhibited to significantly improve the mechanicalproperties and highly adhesiveness on the various surface. Obtained resultssuggest the potential application of these hydrogels in the various medicalfield. |
