제목 | Mussel-inspired catechol-functionalized hydrogels with various cation |
초록 | Generally, IPN hydrogels have beendemonstrated that high mechanical properties of hydrogels can interact throughphysical and chemical crosslinking between polymer networks. Thecatechol-containing IPN hydrogels are promising material candidates for thetough and high adhesiveness hydrogels even under water. We fabricated a toughand adhesive IPN hydrogel by the Polyacrylamide(PAAm) and mussel inspiredcopolymers with various cation(Ca2+, Fe3+, V5+),that the catechol moieties can form strong covalent bonds and coordinationbonds without any stimuli. The various cations can induce the formation ofcatechol-metal coordination interaction in the hydrogel networks. The IPNhydrogels with cations were evaluated and characterized and it provides astretchable and adhesive properties. |
