제목 Tailoring ink formulation of graphene for various printing processes
초록 Graphene is a promising material for electronics, storage, and bio applications. A wide range of studies involving properties, exfoliation, and applications of thin-layered graphene has been put forward. However, the mass production and patterned film deposition of graphene are still challenges. In this study, a novel exfoliation process is suggested to improve the productivity and quality of graphene. A fluidic liquid-phase exfoliation (FLPE) process can produce high-quality graphene in a short time of 1hr. The exfoliated graphene is subjected to an ink formulation process that tailors the viscosity and surface tension of the graphene ink to accommodate various printing processes. The tailored graphene ink enables the fabrication of a highly conductive large-area graphene film and patterning via various printing processes such as inkjet printing, slot-die coater, and dispenser printing. The ink formulation protocol proposed will open a way to facilitate the development of large-area 2D material film and printing patterns and further boost the research toward advanced electronic devices.
