제목 Newly synthesized pH-responsive degradable polymer for improving angiogenesis in ischemia disease with efficient gene delivery
초록 Transplanting stem cells such as human Adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs) is known to have therapeutic effect for ischemic disease treatment. However, due to the poor engraftment and low viability of the stem cells, the therapeutic efficiency of the therapy is usually low. Herein, we have synthesized pH-responsive degradable polymer micelles based on poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(amino ketal) for efficient angiogenic gene delivery. Through our newly synthesized polymer micelles, hADSCs showed significant improvement of angiogenic efficacy when transplanted to ischemic lesions compared to conventional method for gene transfection.
