제목 | Stereoselective synthesis of glutamate transporter blocker |
초록 | L-Glutamate is related to higher brain functions, such as memory and learning, but the role of its transporters has not been identified yet. One of the developed non-transportable blocker is L-threo-β-benzyloxyaspartic acid (L-TBOA), which is known as a specific extracellular amino acid transporter antagonist. We have recently developed a novel synthetic method for threo-β-amino-α-hydroxy acid, in which high stereoselectivity (more than 20:1) is observed from the intramolecular conjugate addition. Here, the developed synthetic protocol was applied to synthesize L-TBOA. The series of the reactions form the D-serinal derivative affords all the functional groups in L-TBOA efficiently. |
