제목 QDs Loaded Heparin Nanoparticles for GI tract Imaging
초록 Heparin has been already established as an anti-angiogenic agent, but it is poorly absorbed in the GIT because of its high molecular weight. To overcome this disadvantage, deoxycholic acid (DOCA) conjugated with low molecular weight heparin (LMWH). This LHD conjugates, developed to enhance the oral absorption of poorly absorbed heparin. DOCA is a well known bile acid and very active heparin absorption in stomach during oral delivery. At the same time it made micelles by conjugating with heparin. Though the QDs itself toxic for animal and live cells as well but heparin-DOCA loaded QDs nanoparticles were much safe for live cancer cell during MTT assay of human epidermal cancer cell KB. The nano-sized (220nm in diameter) heparin-DOCA loaded QDs particles found highly accumulation in to the KB cell during Colfocal Laser Microscopic Scanning (CLMS) study. In this study, we developed a nanoparticle (NP), Heparin-DOCA loaded QDs for whole body imaging at the same time blocking angiogenesis.
