Microencapsulated Hair Follicle Dermal Papilla Cell with Hyaluronic acid/Collagen hydrogel |
초록 |
Dermal papilla (DP) plays crucial role in hair formation, growth and cycling. Reduction or losing hair follicle-inducing capability of DP often lead to alopecia, therefore, production of reconstructed DP is needed. In this study, DP cells were encapsulated within hyaluronic acid/collagen (HA/Col) based hydrogel. Several physicochemical analysis were conducted to characterize synthesized Ha/Col hydrogel. Scanning electron microscopy showed that the microcapsules have uniform micro-sized spherical morphology. Behaviors of microencapsulated cells were evaluated by colorimetric assay and immunofluorescence. The results demonstrates that prepared microcapsules can induced high cell viability of laden DP cells and preserve folliculogenesis-inducing capability of laden DP cells. In conclusion, DP cell microcapsules retain the capacity to initiate follicle regeneration and can be utilized for cell therapy for alopecia treatment and skin tissue engineering. |
