제목 Element-Dependent Cytotoxicity of Silica Nanoparticles with Controlled Physical Properties in Different Living Cells
초록 We fabricated six different element (CeO2, SeO2, CuO, Fe2O3, MnO2, and ZnO) decorated silica nanoparticles (SiO2 NPs) with controlled physical properties. We provide better understanding of comparative cytotoxicity research by various element-decorated nanoparticles with the uniform size, shape and surface element amount. We systematically analyzed the cellular uptake, cell death mechanism, cytotoxicity, and mitochondrial dysfunction of different living cells incubated with element-decorated SiO2 NPs (ED-SiO2 NPs). The ED-SiO2 NPs represents element- and cell type dependent toxicity.
