제목 Process design of amine-based CO2 capture from Naphtha Cracking Center (NCC) flue gas
초록 Representative industries like steel and iron, cement, oil refining, and petrochemical are contributing 24 % of CO2 emissions in the global to aggravate the climate change. In order to mitigate global warming, CO2 capture technologies are actively studied. In this study, the absorption process using MEA(Monoethanolamine) is utilized to remove 8 % CO2 of flue gas from burner of Naphtha Cracking Center(NCC), which mainly combusts methane with trace ethane and propane. The process facility is designed to capture 90 % of CO2 and main capital and operation cost are incorporated to estimate approximate CO2 capture cost with the low sorbent regeneration energy.
