As petroleum is nearly exhausted, natural gas started to get the limelight. Until now, 70% of natural gas has been transported by pipeline and 30% as liquefied natural gas(LNG). Recently, a research found that natural gas hydrate(NGH) transportation is more economical than LNG transportation by over 7 times. As a result, many researches on NGH have been progressed. However, the process of decomposition of NGH has not been yet proposed. This paper suggests the conceptual design of NGH decomposition and water separation process. |
