Enhancing NOx removal at low-temperature range over honeycomb catalyst by pre-treating dodecane reducing agent with a honeycomb plasma discharge |
초록 |
NOx removal in the diesel exhaust gas by selective catalytic reduction at low temperature is interesting because diesel fuel is still a significant part of energy sources. Furthermore, immediately replacing diesel engines with green engines such as electrical ones is impossible due to limited energy sources and current technology. Here, NOx removal at low temperature was investigated using honeycomb plasma discharge to treat a partially feed gas that consisted of a dodecane reducing agent and then injected into the simulated diesel exhaust gas. The purpose of this work will demonstrate that the pre-treatment of dodecane would improve the NOx removal at low operating temperature due to formations of oxygenated hydrocarbons during the pre-treatment. |
