Nowadays, organic photovoltaics(OPVs) show an attractive application in energy harvesting due to their excellent propertiessuch as low-cost, tunable absorptions, adjustable energy levels and large-areaprintable capability. Recently, there is a rapid increase in power conversionefficiencie(PCE)s for non-fullerene OPVs. However, their performance is inadequateto be marketed commercially owing to the lack of stability. An additionalstrategy to improve the device efficiency and stability is by modifying thecathode interlayer based on self-assembled monolayers(SAMs) which enablecarrier extraction and leads to higher photovoltaic efficiencies. In this work, double SAMs based on small-molecule with functional groups like thiols andamine were designed to get high PCE at 1 sun &low illumination condition. And as the result, the device resulted in a PCE of 17.53% in rigid and 16.96% and flexible. Moreover that has also over 20% of PCE at 2000 lux. |
