제목 | Mechanical Properties of Rice Husk Silica – Polycaprolactone (PCL) Composite Fiber by Using Electrospinning |
초록 | The biodegradable polymer has been used in the medical field with advantages of local healing and biocompatibility. Therefore we focus on a composite of silica available to apply various filed and biodegradable Polycaprolactone (PCL) to a medical polymer that can especially be applied to human bones. In this study, Polycaprolactone (PCL), a biodegradable polymer, is mixed with silica having a high specific surface area to confirm the influence of silica to PCL degradation. Rise husk silica- PCL composite fiber was fabricated by electrospinning, which we already set optimization condition of electrospinning from last experimental. Then the degree of composite degradation with time was verified generating a quantity of hydroxyapatite (HA) which material is related to apply human bone. Besides mechanical properties of PCL fiber upon silica surface area were confirmed. Results of each sample were obtained from EDX, SEM, DMA, TGA, and DSC analysis. |
