제목 Development of Heat Managing Graft Polymers for Utilizing Thermal Energy
초록 To develop phase change materials (PCMs) that absorb and release the heat during phase transition, we newly designed and synthesized a graft polymer bearing phenylnaphthalene thermal conducting group. The intramolecular π–π interaction of the thermal conducting core enhanced thermal conductivity and shape stability. The rigid thermal conducting cores induced the restriction of the free movement of the molecular chain and provided a phonon transfer pathway that exhibited outstanding thermal conductivity. The newly developed graft polymers can be used as smart energy-saving materials.
