제목 Mesogenic Heat Managing Materials Preventing Rapid Temperature Rise of Display
초록 For the development of smart heat managing materials that protect the performance and reliability of OLED or LCD devices by buffering the rapid temperature rise, mesogen-based composites were newly synthesized and fabricated. The significant enhancement of heat storage efficiency and thermal conductivity was achieved by modulating the chemical and physical structures of mesogen-based phase change materials (PCMs) mesogenic polymer network. The newly designed mesogen-based PCMs which induce lattice vibration for phonon transfer exhibit excellent heat conduction and energy harvesting properties over traditional PCMs. The mesogen-based materials are expected to be used as advanced materials that prevent a rapid rise in temperature of the display.
