제목 Measurements of diffusion constants for phosphate-flame retardants in polymer matrix
초록 Whenever fire occurs, loss of the products that consist of polymer is immense. In spite of polymer having various advantages, because of the nature of the polymer which has high flammability upon heat, flame retardant is needed significantly. Here, flame retardant is to delay or resist the spread of fire. Halogen-containing flame retardant has become the object of environmental harmful controversy. Consequently, as alternative for halogen-containing flame retardant, phosphorus-containing flame retardant is important issue as halogen-free incombustibility system responding to environmental problem. To know the flame retardant more effectively, we tried to observe the diffusion of phosphate flame retardants in polymer matrix on high temperature, through the diffusion constants of various phosphate flame retardants. We used 'SIMS' measuring depth profile to study diffusion phenomenon of phosphate flame retardant in polymer matrix, systematically.
