MXenes are 2D transition metal carbides or nitrides with few atomic thickness and large specific surface area. Through the high electrical conductivity, flexibility, and transparency, resulting in the application to energy harvesting, electrodes, EMI shielding etc. Recently, organic surface functionalization or intercalation has been frequently applied to produce organic-dispersible MXene inks or pastes. Polymeric ligands have advantages such as enhanced surface passivation, organic dispersion stability, easy of fine tuning of ligand polarity. In this study, highly electrically conducting, oxidation-resistant, and organic-dispersion MXenes have been successfully prepared by simple surface treatment of delaminated MXenes with polymeric ligands in a simple mixing.
