제목 A study on the functional improvement of chitosan microspheres for targeted drug delivery​​
초록 Malignant tumor is a fatal disease, and some types of cancers are often incurable and life-threatening. The key to cancer treatment is to modulate anticancer drugs to act specifically on cancer cells, and a targeted drug delivery system enabling this task still needs to be explored in more detail. Chitosan is the second most abundant polysaccharide in nature obtained by deacetylation of chitin, and is widely used as a biomaterial because of its biocompatibility and biodegradability. In this study, chitosan microparticulates loaded with an anticancer agent and a target cognitive compound were prepared. Physical properties including shape, size, surface potential, and chemical properties of the prepared microparticulates were analyzed using SEM, zeta sizer, zeta potential, and chemical nature. According to the experimental results, the controlled release pattern of the anticancer agent was attained by modulating preparation conditions.
