제목 Peapod-like Arrangement of Multicompositional Noble Metal Nanoparticles within Hollow Silica Nanotubes Encapsulation
초록 The assembly of nanoparticle within hollow nanoshells provides access into advanced nanohybrids with unique and colligative properties. In this work, an effective solution-based synthetic approach for peapod-shaped Au nanoparticle assembly encapsulated within hollow silica nanotubes (pp multi Au@SiO2 NTs) is reported. Firstly, one-dimensional [multiple Au nanodot] core–[silica] shell nanowires (multi-Au@SiO2 NWs) are synthesized using reverse microemulsion techniques. A subsequent thermal treatment of multi-Au@SiO2 NWs in aqueous polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) solution results in the formation of pp multi-Au@SiO2 NTs. Further overgrowth of secondary materials (i.e., Pt) on the Au nanoparticles in pp multi-Au@SiO2 NTs results in the generation of [Au] core-[Pt] shell (Au/Pt) nanoparticle assemblies surrounded by silica nanotubes (pp multi-Au/Pt@SiO2 NTs). The resulted nanoparticles can be efficient and selective nanoreactors for targeted applications.
