제목 Single-Layered Coatable Compensator Programmed by Self-Assembly of Host-Guest Reactive Mesogen and Subsequent Photopolymerization
초록 An antireflective film isfabricated to have more efficiency for light control than pre-existing film inthe display industry. Todevelop a single-layered coatable compensation film, we synthesized anddesigned a cross-shaped reactive mesogen (CRM) which contains the conjugated benzenerings with two imine bonds. The single-layered compensator was fabricated bycoating process, self-assembly, and photopolymerization of the smectic host RMand CRM mixtures with different mixing ratios. It showed that theoptimized content of CRM was 40 wt %. Compensation film shows the idealmolecular arrangement and negative dispersion retardation in optimized ratio,resulted from host-guest molecular self-assembly. This work indicatesimportance of understanding phase behaviors and molecular orientation of the host-guestsystem for fabricating a single-layered compensation film.
