제목 Effects of membrane electrode assembly preparation on the alkaline anion exchange membrane fuel cell performance
초록 Fuel cells are promising renewable energy devices for portable, stationary and transportation applications. However, high cost of their electrocatalysts hinder the widespread commercialization of PEMFCs. Anion exchange membrane fuel cells have the potential as an alternative to PEMFCs. Under alkaline conditions, the kinetics of the oxygen reduction reaction are enhanced compared to acidic environment, leading to improve fuel cell efficiency and allow the use of nonprecious catalysts. Recent studies have focused on development of membrane and ionomer for alkaline fuel cell. However, research on the efficient MEA and preparation should be investigate for the understanding the influence of ionomer content, gas diffusion layer and catalyst structure on the performance. In this study, we tried to optimized fabrication method for enhancing the cell performance.
