제목 Construction of N-doped TiO2@Bi2W0.5Mo0.5O6 Core-Shell Nanofiber as Highly-efficient Hybrid toward Tetracycline Degradation and H2 Evolution Reaction
초록 Heterogeneous photocatalysis has proven to be a promising approach to overcome the great challenges encountered with conventional technologies for environmental and energy issues. In this study, for the first time, a novel hierarchical architecture of nitrogen-doped TiO2@Bi2W0.5Mo0.5O6 (donated as NT@BWMO) was fabricated through an electrospinning process followed by a solvothermal process. The NT@BWMO showed significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity towards the degradation of tetracycline (TC) as compared to the pristine TiO2 and the binary composites. The enhanced catalytic activity can be ascribed to the excellent native adsorption, enhanced light–harvesting region, hierarchical structure, and strong interfacial interaction between TiO2 and BWMO. The kinetic analysis demonstrated that the degradation of TC follows the Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic model. Moreover, a possible photocatalytic mechanism underlying the degradation of TC by NT@BWMO is also proposed.
