As the use of wearable devices is widespread. The needs for developing flexible devices are required. One of the prerequisties for these applications are the availiability of solid polymer electrolytes with high flexibility. however since most of the solid polymer electrolytes have low ionic conductivity, a plasticizer is used to be added to increase their ionic conductivities. Plasticizers can increase the amorphous regions in the polymer matrix, and ionic conductivity can be enhanced through increased amorphous regions, but the mechanical property of chitosan matrix can be weaken. Thus, In order to prevent this deteriorates of chitosan matrix. a filler has been mixed with he chiotsan matrix. This article introduces the chitosan-based solid polymer electrolytes containing siver nanowires ans functionalized carbon nanotubes as fillers, and their mechanical strength and ionic conductivities were investigated. |
