Among conductive polymers, PEDOT(poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)) is a popular material with high electrical conductivity, heat resistance and flexibility. In this study, new monomer is designed to have UV absorption area so that it can be polymerized with specific wavelength. UV light was exposed to confirm polymerization over time. As UV exposure time increased, the sheet resistance decreased and reached 104Ω/sq. The film thickness is 38.5nm and the conductivity is 25.97S/cm. After the post treatment with acid, the thickness is 10.8nm and has a conductivity of 300.82S/cm. UV irradiation successfully forms PEDOT film, and further, selective exposure UV by shadow mask forms pattern. These advantages make the process of manufacturing electronic devices easy and simple, enabling mass production. |
