Preparation of Water/Silicone Type Emulsion in which Urea and α-Hydroxy Acid were Stabilized and its Effect on Skin Brightness |
| 초록 |
In this study, W/S type emulsion containing urea and α-hydroxy acid (AHA) was prepared and its stability had been observed for 30 days at 5, 30, and 45 ℃. We observed that the urea and AHA were stabilized by checking pH of the emulsion. The brightening effect of the emulsion containing urea and AHA, reported to moisturize skin and stimulate skin turnover, was evaluated through a clinical study. As a result, both pigmented zone and background color tone of the skin surface became lighter significantly after 4 weeks treatment of the W/S emulsion. |
