Development of bio-adhesive for hard tissue using denatured-cyanoacrylate and bisphenol A dimethacylate (Bis-GMA) |

In this study, we developed a method to prepare the bio-adhesive for hard tissue using a mixture of denatured-cyanoacrylate(DAC) and bisphenol A dimethacylate (Bis-GMA). Firstly, we carried out polymerization shrinkage test, compressive strength test and cell cytotoxic assay for each ratio in the absence of hydroxyapatite (HA). In the case of the presence of HA, we evaluated the compressive strength and tensile strength. Results clearly indicate that bio-adhesive displayed biologically and physically favorable properties and functions. |
