제목 Room-Temperature Synthesis of Hollow Polymer Microparticles with an Open Hole on Their Surface and Application
초록 Because the closed shell likely behaves as a barrier, diffusion through the shell is a slow process that requires a long time for materials to be introduced into the particles. In this work, facile method to produce hollow polymer particles with an open hole in their surface was developed. When hollow and dimpled polystyrene (PS) seeds were dispersed in a mixture of water and toluene follow by solvent evaporation at room temperature, hollow PS microparticles with an open hole on their surface were obtained. Hollow and pored PS microparticles uniformly covered by Ag nanocrystals were synthesized and used as catalyst.
