제목 Stability of lyophilized poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles containing coenzyme Q10
초록 Lyophilization has been studied to increase the stability and store-ability of poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide)-nanoparticles (PLGA-NP). Purpose of this study is to stabilize coenzyme Q10 loaded PLGA-NP by lyophilization with several cryoprotectants. PLGA-NP was prepared spontaneous emulsification solvent diffusion (SESD) method using poly(vinyl alcohol) and tween 80 as surfactants.1 Result of this study showed that addition of sucrose or maltose as a cryoprotectant was very efficient to preserve the inherent properties of PLGA-NP (Fig. 1). The existence of cryoprotectant such as sucrose or maltose above 0.2% is effective for cryoprotection of PLGA-NP.

Figure 1. Effect of cryoprotectant concentration on the size of PLGA-NP before and after lyophilization at -50℃.
