Development of High Thermal Conductive Composite Sheet for Improve Solar Panel Cooling Efficiency |

In order to develop the cooling sheet for solar panels, nonwoven fabric made of mainly thermally conductive carbon fibers were prepared by a wet-laid process. When producing the nonwoven fabric, the thermoplastic fibers were added in a certain ratio for the binder or matrix. Then, it was made into a sheet form using a hot press. The thermal conductivity of the composite sheet was observed using hot-disc method by ISO22007-2. The dispersion state of fillers in the composite sheet was measured by a FE-SEM. It is expected that the thermal conductivity of the composite sheet will be determined by the total content of the thermally conductive fillers and the composition ratio in the composites. |
