제목 Design and Synthesis of Three A-D-A'-D-A Type Non-fullerene Acceptors Introducing Various End-capping Groups for High Performance Ternary Organic Solar Cells
초록 Since Ternary organic solar cells (TOSCs) are the blend of three elements in a single layer, it can absorb a broad spectrum of light without stacking multiple layers, and can form a cascade of appropriate energy levels, which facilitates charge transfer and forms film morphology better than binary.  
In this study, we designed and synthesized three types of A-D-A'-D-A NFAs by introducing three end-capping units with various electron-withdrawing capabilities into the BT-dIDT core. These NFAs have slightly different physical and optical properties by changing the end-capping groups, which affect exciton dissociation, charge transport, film morphology, etc., so that they have different device performance. The presence of small amounts of third components in the PM6:Y6-BO-4Cl blend not only enhanced the photon harvesting ability of OSCs, but also enabled faster charge transfer. Through this, it was possible to reach higher PCE with improved JSC, FF, and VOC values.
