Lithium-sulfur battery is receiving great interest because of their high theoretical energy density and capacity, but practical applications are still hampered by the capacity reduction caused by the polysulfide shuttle effect. As Cathode's structure materials, ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 have been studied in depth to prevent lithium polysulfide from dissolving in the electrolyte. Both MOFs have similar crystal structures and unit cell parameters and use the same ligand, so they can be easily synthesized with a bimetallic organic backbone structure. As an electrode material, a carbonization process and hydrothermal synthesis at 800 °C were used to improve performance. To demonstrate these results, the electrochemical properties have been evaluated by various electrochemical analyzes, including cyclic voltammetry between carbonization and non-carbonization. |
