Liquidphase exfoliated hexagonal boron nitride/reduced oxide graphene nanocompositestructure based electrode for aqueous system energy storage |
초록 |
The hexagonal boron nitride has garnered tremendous interest due to its unique mechanical and electronic properties. However, the application of hexagonal boron nitride has been restricted as electrode materials for energy storage because of its low conductivity. Nanostructured hexagonal boron nitride is prepared by liquid phase exfoliation. The exfoliated material shows enhanced electrical conductivity compared to the bulk material. Interestingly, the hexagonal boron nitride/reduced oxide graphene nanocomposite as electrode material exhibits a pair of distinct and reversible redox peaks in aqueous electrolyte. The modified carbon and increased specific surface area of boron nitride increases its electrical conductivity. The fabricated electrode with the nanocomposite material delivers capacitance of 49.4mAh/g. Therefore, boron nitride/reduced oxide graphene nanocomposite would be a promising electrode material for energy storage. |
