제목 Modification of ASF Distribution by Regulated Pore Length of Fischer-Tropsch Catalysts
초록 Cobalt supported ordered mesoporous silica and aluminosilicate having different pore lengths were synthesized and employed for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The effects of pore length were investigated in terms of product distribution as well as activity keeping the size of cobalt crystals almost identical. During the FT activity tests, the catalyst having shorter pore length showed increased CO conversion, decreased light olefin selectivity, and decreased C5+ hydrocarbon selectivity. The catalysts having shorter pore length were found to show a non-ASF feature with relatively lower fraction of long-chain hydrocarbons. The relatively lower C5+ selectivity and non-ASF feature could be ascribed to the less amount of secondary growth from olefins re-adsorption and less residence time for further propagation. Through in situ DRIFT method, CO adsorption mode in the case of shorter pore was found quite different from those of conventional ones. Linear CO adsorption mode was noticeably increased, whereas bridge-type adsorption mode was barely seen. Because of these two features, long-chain hydrocarbons selectivity was expected to be lower in the case of shorter pore.
