Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Peptide-based Triblock Copolymers |

Polymeric carriers are potentially viable as vessels for both the protection and transportion on medicinal substances. In an effort to generate such polymeric materials for the desired application, we present a new set of Poly (ethylene glyol) (PEG)-based ligands as PEGamine. By means of these PEG amine and amino acid N-carboxyanhydrides (NCA), water-soluble triblock poly[amino(4-hydrxyl phenyl) acid]-PEG-poly[amino(4-hydrxyl phenyl) acid] polymer was synthesized, which was characterized using 1H NMR, FTIR and GPC.
