The most critical performance characteristic for Organic electroluminescent Device (OLEDs) is the device operational lifetime. Continuous operation of OLEDs generally leads to a steady loss of efficiency and a gradual rise in bias voltages. Benefits of TiO2 include their mechanical and electrical robustness, low cost, visible transparency, excellent stability, ease of fabrication, solution processability, and eco-friendly features. Furthermore, these high-surface- area mesoporous films can be modified by the attachment of molecular dyes or polymers. We have studied the characteristics of OLED devices having TiO2 thin film, which were made by a sol-gel method. The TiO2 mesoporous structure were characteriged with XRD(X-ray diffraction) pattern, SEM(Scanning electron microscope) images. We have also measured the current density-voltage-luminace (J-V-L) characteristic of OLEDs containing the TiO2 mesoporous film. |
