제목 Improvement of photochromic propertiesand dispersibility of tungsten oxide by introducing organic materials​
초록  Tungsten trioxide (WO3) has been studied as a photochromic material in various fields due to very cheap manufacturing cost, high thermal, photo-stability and low toxicity. However, tungsten oxide is inferior to other photochromic materials because its bleaching rate is very slow.  In this study, we synthesized novel tungsten oxides complexed with various organic materials such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, oleylamine, hexadecylamine, and CTAB. The introduction of organic ligands improves the dispersibility in processing solvents and photochromic properties of the tungsten oxides. By comparative analysis with various organic materials, it is confirmed that PVP ligand significantly increases the photochromic properties, bleaching rate, and dispersibility in processing solvents. As a result, WO3-PVP hybrid material showed superior performances to the other tungsten oxides.
