제목 Synthesis and characterization of nylon 12-b-PEG multiblock copolymer/clay nanocomposites by in-situ melt condensation polymerization
초록 Polymer/clay nanocomposites have attracted a great deal of attention in both scientific and industrial areas because they often exhibit improved mechanical, thermal, and flammability and barrier properties by dispersing nano-sized clay mineral particles throughout a polymer matrix. In this study, we synthesized nylon 12-b-PEG multiblock copolymer/clay nanocomposites by  melt-polycondensation of α,ω-dicarboxyl polyamide 12 oligomer with PEG in the presence of Na-MMT as a clay. Morphology, thermal, and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigated by XRD, TEM, DSC, DMA, and tensile test, respectively.
