제목 Hydrogen Permeability and Thermo-physical Properties of CeO2-SiC Composite Membranes
초록 Spherical silica particle is widely used such as chemical catalysts, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, electronics and photographic emulsion. SiC sludge is an eco-friendly material to use industrial waste. To prepare the CeO2-SiC composite membrane, dip-coating method from CeO2 precursor sol solution was applied on the SiC membrane with varying these mixture ratios. The CeO2 was homogenously loaded on this SiC membrane. The prepared composite membranes were characterized by Thermogravimetry Differential Thermal Analysis (TG/DTA), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM), Bruner-EMMETT-Teller (BET) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Thermal conductivity was investigated by Laser flash method. Compared with the porous CeO2/SiC membranes, hydrogen permeability was calculated from the values of hydrogen permeation tests.
