Polymeric additives to regulate the cocrystallization of adefovir dipivoxil and dicarboxylic acids |

The effects of polymeric additives on the cocrystallization of adefovir dipivoxil (AD) and suberic acid (SUB) or succinic acid (SUC) were investigated. Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) were studied as the additives to regulate the solution cocrystallization of AD/SUB and AD/SUC. The resulting cocrystals were characterized in their crystal structures, morphology, and crystallinity. The polymeric additives were found as effective modifiers of the cocrystallization in the present study. |
