Nonuniform 전기장하의 구형액적 내부 및 외부에서의 유동 |

It is well known that some circulating flows are formed for the phases inside and outside the drop when electric field is applied on dielectric drop suspended in another such fluids. Because the resultant flow will enhance heat and mass transfer from the drop, studies were performed to predict the fluid flow and heat and mass transfer. But such studies were limited to the case of uniform electric field even if there are many processes of separator and heat exchanger which use nonuniform electric field. Under the assumption of spherical shape, we can extend the pioneering work of Taylor for the uniform electric field problem to the nonuniform electric field problem. Thus the aim of the present work is to theoretically study both electric potentials and streamlines inside and outside drop under nonuniform electric field. The heat and mass transfer from the drop will be also discussed.
