제목 Development of new immunoassay platform for Prostate specific antigen (PSA) detection using PCL/Ag/SiO2 nanostructure based on Metal-enhanced fluorescence effect of silver nanoparticles and wide surface area of nanofibers
초록 Metal-enhanced fluorescence (MEF) is a phenomenon in which the fluorescence intensity is greatly improved by the interaction between surface plasmon resonance of metal nanoparticles such as gold or silver and fluorophores. In order to intensify the fluorescence signal a substrate with larger surface area is needed. It is also necessary to ensure adequate distance for the metal-enhanced flurescence effect. Thus to achieve that, the use of PCL/Ag/SiO2 nanostructure which is formed through electrospinning and stober method has been adopted. Due to Metal-enhanced fluorescence effect of silver nanoparticles and increased surface area by nanofiber structure, our system consequently yields a higher fluorescence signal and potentially provides a new immunoassay platform for Prostate specific antigen (PSA) detection.
