Effect of Various Parameters on the Morphology of Electrospun Polyacrylic acid |

Electrospinning techinique is emerging as a simple and low-cost method for fabricating nanofibers. Polyacrylic acid (PAAc) was used to prepare the electrospun nanofibers for using drug release system. In this study, PAAc solutions (in water) were electrospun to prepare the nanofiber nanofibers depending on concentration of solution, voltage, the electrospinning flow rate, and a tip-target distance (TTD). The conductivity and viscosicity of PAAc solution were measured. The morphology and diameter distribution of electrospun PAAc nanofibers were charaterized by using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
